Four plans. Clear scope. Same management discipline

Anti brute force protection, structured backups, monitoring, maintenance windows, and a custom DNS hostname are included. Safe zone whitelisting is optional as additional scoped work.

Quick answer: The four plans differ by hardware ownership and hosting model. The management discipline stays the same: hardened access, backups, maintenance windows, and a defined operating model.
Titan Cloud Servers is a one stop solution for multi-user QuickBooks Desktop, built on a managed Windows Server environment where remote access, office file sharing, folder permissions, backups, and support work together as one system.
Pricing below is the standard baseline. Larger deployments are quoted after a discovery call.

Plan 4

International hosted, managed, and guided server route

From USD 400 / month

For UK, USA, Canada, UAE, and worldwide clients. The service is still hosted, managed, and guided from A to Z. Base management starts at USD 400/month for environments with up to 5 active QuickBooks/RDP users. If you already have a suitable server, we assess it. If you do not, we guide the route first: provider, country or region, bare-metal class, Microsoft licensing path, RDP access, QuickBooks setup, backup design, and go-live process. We do not chase hardware margin or push our own servers when Azure, AWS, IONOS, Hetzner, or another route gives the client a better combination of speed, cost, privacy, and reliability. The point is not raw internet speed, a flashy server spec, or latency alone. We work out the fastest practical experience for your actual users, then manage the Windows Server, RDP, QuickBooks, backup, and maintenance layer long term.

  • Guided server selection before deployment across providers we have worked with such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, IONOS, Hetzner, and other suitable bare-metal or cloud infrastructure providers
  • Proper provider and region choice based on real user location, latency, server class, licensing impact, privacy needs, monthly cost, and QuickBooks workload
  • Usually properly selected bare metal for serious QuickBooks Desktop workloads because dedicated resources, predictable storage, cleaner isolation, and licensing/core planning are normally better than a generic shared VPS route
  • Microsoft Windows Server, RDS CAL, Windows Server CAL, and QuickBooks licensing guidance before you spend money
  • Windows Server design, RDP access, QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise, backups, maintenance, and user onboarding managed as one environment
  • Regional server choice where possible so latency, reliability, data location, and cost are decided before the client spends money
  • Performance guidance based on CPU generation, clock speed, NVMe storage, file size, users, and workload, not just a blind core count
  • Complimentary custom DNS hostname where technically feasible

Extras: Additional managed users after the first 5 are from USD 25 each/month. Extra QuickBooks company files are from USD 25 each/month. Server rental, Microsoft licensing, RDS CALs, Windows Server CALs, QuickBooks licensing, Office licensing, VPN work, geo whitelisting, and security-stack integration are quoted separately where needed.

    International planning note

Microsoft licensing and server planning for international remote-management projects

This section is for international clients, including UK, USA, Canada, UAE, and other countries. The client may already have a server, but that does not automatically mean it is the best route. Titan Cloud Servers helps decide before money is spent: whether to use the existing server, move to a proper datacenter-hosted bare-metal server, use a major provider such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, IONOS, or Hetzner where appropriate, or choose another low-latency route. The goal is a fast practical working experience for the actual users, balancing latency, CPU generation, clock speed, NVMe storage, privacy requirements, Microsoft licensing, monthly cost, backups, and support scope. We normally avoid generic VPS routes for serious QuickBooks Desktop work because a shared virtualized machine can look cheap on paper while giving weaker isolation, noisier performance, messier storage guarantees, and less favorable licensing/core planning. Office hardware can work in some cases, but non-datacenter hardware, weak internet, power issues, and local maintenance can increase management scope instead of reducing it.

Datacenter bare-metal or cloud server rentalUsually USD 100 to USD 300/month as a planning rangeDepends on provider, country or region, CPU generation, clock speed, NVMe storage, backup storage, user location, QuickBooks file size, and workload. We guide this route before the client spends money.
USD 100/month server routeRecommended for 1 to 5 users maxFor lighter international QuickBooks/RDP use where the file size, reporting load, and user behavior are modest.
USD 150/month server routeRecommended for 6 to 10 users, or 5 users with heavier workflowAllows practical 1 to 2 user flexibility because not every user will hammer QuickBooks, reports, Excel, and RDP at the same moment.
USD 200/month server routeRecommended for 11 to 20 usersAllows practical 2 to 4 user flexibility depending on company file size, reporting habits, backup windows, and workload.
USD 300/month server routeRecommended from 21 to 40 users, with 30 to 40 possible in suitable workloadsAllows practical 5 to 8 user flexibility in the right workload, but still requires discovery because a heavy QuickBooks file can change the recommendation.
41+ active usersCustom review requiredServer rental, Microsoft core licensing, backup design, and support scope must be quoted after discovery. The calculator should not pretend a USD 300/month route still covers this size.
Microsoft server versionClient chooses Windows Server 2022 or Windows Server 2025 planningThe calculator automatically matches the Windows Server license, RDS User CALs, and Windows Server User CALs to the selected version so the buyer does not have to choose three separate Microsoft licensing dropdowns.
Microsoft Windows Server core licenseUSD 100 and USD 150 server routes use the 16-core placeholder. USD 200 and USD 300 server routes use the 24-core placeholder. This follows the server route selected for the workload. Smaller routes are planned with 14 or 16-core class servers. Larger routes are planned with 24-core class coverage. Final licensing is confirmed before purchase.
Microsoft RDS User CALsAuto-matched to the selected Windows Server version. 2022: USD 468.99 for first 5 users, then USD 102.99 per extra user placeholder. 2025: USD 574.99 for first 5 users, then USD 119.99 per extra user placeholder.RDS CALs are for users who connect by Remote Desktop. Planning starts with a 5-user pack. After that, additional RDS CALs can be added as 1-user, 5-user, 10-user, or larger packs depending on the final reseller quote and what is available.
Microsoft Windows Server User CALsAuto-matched to the selected Windows Server version. 2022: USD 189.99 for first 5 users, then USD 38.99 per extra user placeholder. 2025: USD 189.95 for first 5 users, then USD 39.99 per extra user placeholder.Separate from RDS CALs. These cover user access to Windows Server services such as file sharing and server resources. The calculator starts with a 5-user pack and then uses 1-user add-on placeholders after 5 users.
QuickBooks Desktop EnterpriseSeparate for international planningThe client usually already owns it, or we can guide legal procurement. We do not pretend QuickBooks licensing is included unless written into the quote.
Extra QuickBooks company filesUSD 25 each/month after the first fileUsed for additional file management, backup scope, support scope, and operational separation.

These are planning placeholders, not binding license quotes. Microsoft, Intuit, reseller, regional, tax, server-provider, and promotion pricing can change. For international projects, the real commercial picture has two totals: the one-time total, which combines Titan Cloud Servers onboarding plus Microsoft license planning, and the monthly total, which combines Titan Cloud Servers remote management plus the selected server rental estimate. We usually prefer properly selected bare-metal servers over VPS for serious QuickBooks Desktop environments because resources are dedicated, storage behavior is more predictable, privacy/isolation boundaries are cleaner, and licensing/core planning can be cheaper and cleaner. More cores are not automatically faster. A newer high-clock CPU with fast NVMe can outperform a larger but slower VPS or older multi-core system. It is not about raw internet speed, raw server specs, or latency alone. We work out what is fastest and most reliable for the client’s real users, then guide the route so the client is not left guessing between providers, license packs, and server classes.
